christie Holderness, district manager

Christie Holderness began her career at St. Andrews Public Service District as a Commissioner in 2001. After serving as Chairperson from 2005-2011, Holderness filled the position of District Manager in 2012. She is an alumna of the College of Charleston with a degree in Business Administration and is a long-time St. Andrews Public Service District resident. Holderness has various NIMS/FEMA and leadership certifications through various continuing education platforms. She is an active member of the S.C. Association of Special Purpose Districts and was elected in 2017 to serve as a Board Member for the Association. As a member, she serves as Chair of the Legislative Committee and meets regularly with lobbyists and legislatures to stay apprised of any movement on the House/Senate floor affecting SPD’s across the state. She is a licensed title agent operating through her own company, Avondale Group, LLC. In addition to attending civic functions and SASPD events, Holderness is an active member at First (Scots) Presbyterian Church, a mother of two wonderful young adults, and enjoys surrounding herself with friends and family.
