Pushing Rescue 301 into the Station

Here is a video of some members of our crew pushing Rescue 301 into Station 1 Headquarters to be put in service!

SAFD’s New Rescue Boat

Chief Lamoreaux says, "The 12 foot inflatable boat will allow the department to quickly access members of the community who find themselves in distress in the many shallow waterways and marshes that surround our area.”

The boat will be a part of the equipment cache carried by Rescue Company 301 and can be readily deployed to remote areas. "The rescue boat can be inflated and in the water with three rescuers in under 10 minutes," says Captain Savage of Rescue 301.

SAPSD 70th Anniversary Party Recap
