Camp “Can” Do:
St. Andrews Fire Department is a proud supporter of the MUSC Children’s Hospital Burned Children’s Fund. Each year, members of St. Andrews Fire Department volunteer their time and serve as lifeguards and counselors for Camp “Can” Do, a week long summer camp, co-sponsored by the Burned Children’s Fund and Pediatric Burn Center, designed specifically for children who have been burned from a fire. The Fire Department also collects aluminum cans to raise monetary funds that allow children to attend the camp who are in need of financial assistance.
Want to help? Please bring your aluminum cans to 1775 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29407. There is a cage in the front parking lot where the cans are collected.

St. Andrews Fire Department does charitable work with Carolina Children’s Charity, which supports local children with birth defects and childhood diseases, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Members of the Fire Department participate in boot drives to raise money for both charities.
